Your trust is sacred to us.
Let’s Pray exists so people can share their burdens and be lifted up — often at their most vulnerable. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what we collect, what we never collect, and how we protect the people who pray and are prayed for.
Last updated: June 7, 2026
Our core promise
The people who pray for you never see your name, your email, or anything that could identify you — only your request and the general region it came from. Your identity is known to God, and to you. Not to anyone else on this site.
SECTION 1You can pray, and be prayed for, anonymously
You never need an account to submit a prayer request. If you submit anonymously, we don’t ask for your name or email at all — we simply receive your request and pass it to our prayer team.
Creating an account is optional. People choose to register only so we can notify them when they’re being prayed for and let them track their own requests over time.
SECTION 2What we collect
When you submit a prayer request
- The category of prayer (e.g. health, family, guidance)
- Your request in your own words (up to 300 words)
- A general location — country, and state if you’re in the U.S. — so the prayer team knows where lifts are rising from
If you create a requester account (optional)
- Your first and last name
- Your email address (used only to notify you and to sign in)
- A private prayer name we generate for you, for your own tracking
If you join as a prayer warrior
- Your first and last name and email address
- Your chosen prayer focus areas
- Optionally, the church you call home — only if you choose to share it
- Your affirmation of our statement of faith and commitment
SECTION 3What we never do
- We never show your name, email, or identity to prayer warriors or the public
- We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third parties
- We never let prayer warriors link multiple requests back to one person
- We never require an account to receive prayer
- We never post your personal details on the public prayer wall — only the request and region
SECTION 4How prayer warriors see requests
When a prayer warrior receives a request to lift up, they see only:
They do not see your name, email, prayer name, or anything that could identify you — and they cannot tell whether two requests came from the same person. This is enforced at the deepest level of our system, not just hidden on the screen.
SECTION 5How we use your information
- To deliver your prayer request to our prayer team
- To notify registered requesters when someone is praying for them
- To let you track your requests and mark prayers answered
- To understand, in aggregate, the needs of our community (totals only — never tied to a person)
- To keep the community safe and prevent misuse
Any reporting we do for the ministry uses anonymous totals only — for example, “47 requests for healing this month.” It never includes the text of requests or anyone’s personal details.
SECTION 6How your information is stored & protected
Your information is stored securely with our trusted hosting provider, protected by industry-standard encryption in transit. Access to personal data is restricted, and our system is built so that personal details are kept separate from the prayer requests themselves.
Passwords are never stored in a readable form. We hold your information only as long as needed to serve you and the ministry.
SECTION 7Your choices & rights
- You can request anonymously and share nothing personal at all
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account and personal information at any time
- You can pause or close your prayer-warrior status whenever you wish
- You can unsubscribe from notifications at any time
To make any of these requests, just contact us and we’ll take care of it.
SECTION 8Age requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account on Let’s Pray — whether as someone requesting prayer or as a prayer warrior. When you register, we ask you to confirm that you meet this requirement.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account or provided us personal information, please contact us and we’ll remove it promptly.
Note: anyone can be prayed for — a parent or guardian may submit an anonymous prayer request on behalf of a child. The 18+ requirement applies only to creating an account.
SECTION 9Changes to this policy
As the ministry grows, we may update this policy. When we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Let’s Pray means you accept the current version.
